Beth Chapman dead at 51: Dog the Bounty Hunter in mourning after losing his wife following throat cancer battle.

The wife of Dog The Bounty Hunter was hospitalized over the weekend and placed in a medically-induced coma after suffering breathing problems.

Beth's mother flew to Honolulu and her children and grandchildren also  gathered 'at her bedside' as sources reported yesterday there's 'not a lot that can be done' for her at this point.

The family is also 'making medical decisions with the help of her doctors.'

He posted a bedside tribute on Monday night to his wife, tweeted a touching photo of Beth's right hand with a rhinestone manicure.

'You all know how she is about HER NAILS !!' wrote Duane, who rang in his 13th wedding anniversary with Beth this May.

Beth Chapman has died following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was 51.

Duane Dog Chapman tweeted that his wife 'hiked the stairway to heaven' at 5:32 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

'It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain,' he wrote. 'Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.'

World-famous bounty hunter Duane `Dog' Chapman pursues a diverse slate of fugitives from his home base of Hawaii to his native state of Colorado.

He's joined on the hunts by his wife and business partner, Beth, and his sons, Leland and Duane Lee. Other family members and friends have also been featured on the programme.
