Mum Shares Experience After Giving Birth: Still amazed by the human body

38 weeks pregnant, 4 weeks postpartum: Hannah Wrote in an instagram post

Still amazed by the human body, it blows my mind. I think I’m appreciating the process so much more the second time around as I’ve completely let go of any expectations I had and just focused on the functionality of my body rather than its appearance.

My body was a house for my little babe, a tunnel for arrival earthside and now it provides liquid gold for growth. I love and appreciate my bod regardless of the extra loose skin, soft tone and uneven boobs (my kids couldn’t careless either although Evaliah loves to grab at my tummy all day) .

Just an update to keep it real- I’m currently still 7kg up from my pre-pregnancy wait and I’ve lost ALOT of muscle tone and still can’t fit into the majority of my clothes. I’m looking forward to exercising because it makes me FEEL energetic and strong. I’m determined, in time, to get fit again so watch this space.

Polites also said that she’s waiting at least six weeks before she exercises again.

“The human body is so amazing and I’m so thankful that mine was able to grow, birth and now nurture my boy,” she said. “I’m in no rush to ‘bounce back’ and will just be focusing on my family and new baby, not exercising for at least 6 weeks.”

Though now, four weeks later, Polites said she’s looking forward to rebuilding her muscle. She shared a few pictures on her Instagram Story on Wednesday to show how she improved her glutes.

Man Gets His Racist Tattoos Removed After Becoming A Dad

Bryon Widner by name, became a skinhead at the age of 14, and he spent 16 years involved with racist organizations in the midwest. He earned the nickname of “pit bull”, and went on to co-found Vinlanders Social Club, a white power group in Indiana.

Vinlanders soon gained a reputation for excessive violence and became one of the fastest-growing racist skinhead organizations in the US.

In 2005, Widner married Julie Larsen and a year later, the couple had a son. The responsibilities of fatherhood gave Widner the desire to reform and leave the racist movement, a desire shared by his new wife.

Widner took the decision to leave the neo-nazi group, but it took years of death threats and harassment before he felt that he was finally becoming “human again.”

Widner’s attempts to become part of regular society were understandably made more difficult by his many facial tattoos, which were both intimidating and openly racist. His wife Julie was afraid that he would do something extreme to erase hi…

Man Stops Drinking Alcohol, Narrates How Much Sobriety Changed Him In 3 Years

Giving up your vices and guilty pleasures can lead to a happier and healthier life that’s full of purpose. Even though you might not see the changes day-to-day when you give up drinking alcohol, they’re very apparent to others. One of the things that can keep you motivated is documenting the changes and looking at the photos side by side.

Well, one man has made the phrase ‘one day at a time’ fit both his fight with alcoholism and documenting his journey through sobriety. These last three years, Kenny D. has taken snaps of how he looked when he quit alcohol at key stages in his journey of sobriety. The changes within the first month are already huge and he is almost unrecognizable in the final pictures.

Kenny went sober three years ago. When he took his first photo, he was feeling awful.

“I took a picture of myself the day I got my first sobriety coin, 24 hours sober. I felt so ill and I looked so bad, I wanted to remember it so I wouldn’t forget. The day I got my 30-day coin, I though…

Why Does Canada Feel more Developed Than The USA

Why Does Canada Feel more Developed Than The USA a question asked by a Quora Community User: The question goes like this:

"If USA is wealthier than Canada, why does Canada feel more developed (far cleaner cities, a lot less crime, fewer homeless people, significantly higher life expectancy)?"

Kelly Meilleur Has the best answer:

Dual citizen here (CDN/USA).

I will try to explain Canada.

There is an entirely different sense of right and wrong in Canada. Canadians are democratic. (Not just a democracy; there’s a difference.)

That means they are happy to pay taxes - big taxes - so that they have the resources they need in their neighbourhoods. They don’t need to earn big money to be able to afford a house in a good school district or private school tuition in order to ensure a good k-12 foundation for their kids.

Their children do not need to take on hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt for an undergraduate or professional degree at a good school. Some Americans think that th…
