The charge stems from a 2017 incident, in which Tay-K allegedly shot and killed a 23-year-old photographer named Mark Anthony Saldivar during a robbery, according to KSAT News.

The rapper, whose legal name is Taymor McIntyre, was charged with intentionally shooting and killing Saldivar during a robbery that took place in April 2017, according to the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office. He was 16 when he shot the victim.

He is currently awaiting trial at the Bexar County Jail, after being sentenced to 55 years in prison over a separate murder charge.

Tay-K was convicted of murdering 21-year-old Ethan Walker during a home invasion robbery back in July of 2016. He was placed on house arrest but fled for San Antonio.

Taymor McIntyre, 19, was found guilty along with six other men of the killing of Ethan Walker, in Mansfield, Texas, in July 2016. The men had intended to rob Walker and another man of drugs and money and in the subsequent home invasion, Walker was shot dead. His girlfriend testified that he’d had his hands in the air when he was killed.
