Promising review: The first thing that caught my attention about this tablet was it's price, it was low enough for our budget. I got it for me but pretty much everyone in my house uses it, my son and husband use it all the time. I like how crisp the image is, we watch Netflix on it quite a bit. I set parental controls up so my son doesn't watch something he shouldn't and it works great. My husband uses it for movies and music, he especially likes using it when we're in bed for the night. I do wish the screen was a little larger but for the price I'm still quite satisfied with my purchase.

What's the Best Android Tablet?

More than other tablet operating systems, Android goes from low to high. The broad flexibility of Google's OS lets manufacturers build useful products ranging from $50 to more than $500, fitting a broader range of niches and tastes than the Apple iPad, which has dominated the tablet market since it first came out. While there's no shortage of Android tablets on the market, however, we're seeing a slowdown when it comes to high-quality options we feel comfortable recommending, which makes it more important than ever to pay attention to reviews.

While Android dukes it out with the iPad and Windows tablets at the top of its range, and doesn't always win, its strengths at smaller sizes and lower price points can be hard to beat. Android tablets also sometimes show up with crazy experimental features, like a pico projector or a separate Wacom touchpad for artists. But all of those innovative ideas make Android a little harder to program for than iOS or Windows, so you may find that hot games and top productivity apps come to one of the other platforms first.
