Iran's Supreme Leader Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei tweeted at President Trump calling him a failure. In his message, Hosseini Khamenei wrote:
"The villainous US govt repeatedly says that they are standing by the Iranian people. They lie. If you are standing by the Iranian people, it is only to stab them in the heart with your venomous daggers. Of course, you have so far failed to do so, & you will certainly continue to fail."

In a rare display of emotion from the typically reserved and measured supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei cried openly at the funeral of slain Gen. Qassem Soleimani, his most important military commander with whom he shared a deep bond.
“Oh Allah, they are in need of your mercy, and you are exalted above punishing your servants,” Khamenei said during a mass prayer as he stood over a flag-draped casket with the remains of Soleimani, who was killed in a US drone strike in Iraq.
Martyr Soleimani is the international image of resistance and all lovers of resistance seek his revenge," he said in his message of condolence, in which he declared three days of national mourning, Leader.ir reported.
Here are some twitter users reaction in respect of Khamenei's tweet:

American here. Trust nothing our President says. Hopefully we can get back on track to normalization after we get him out of office. Iran & USA will have a solid peace in the future.— Michael A. Clements (@Burb_Beer_Dude) January 17, 2020
I’m American, I’ve been taken to jail for driving without a DL but I I did not hurt anyone or impeded on anyone’s freedoms or rights. Iranian protestors are protesting for equality for homosexuals and other nonreligious ways of living. That is a direct assault on Iran Government!— Amun Zo (Lonzo Davis) (@lonzodavis) January 17, 2020
Thank you 👍💙🌍, we support peace with America and Iran. We will VOTE or REMOVE Trump from office (Truth prevails always) when the Senate votes him out of office. We miss .@JohnKerry who is a credible American.— JenDan (@JenDanser) January 18, 2020
Those Iran protesters should remember one thing clearly. If you support US, Trump, Pompeo, then you are paving a way for them to invade to your country like they did against Iraq in 2003 & looted Iraq's money, resources, men's, women's & childrens. So, pull yourself off & unite.— Bipin Neymar (@neymarbipin) January 17, 2020
The noble people of Iran—who love America—deserve a government that's more interested in helping them achieve their dreams than killing them for demanding respect. Instead of leading Iran toward ruin, its leaders should abandon terror and Make Iran Great Again!ترامپ جوابتو داد 👆— نسل شیک پاسارگادی (@manok_kh) January 17, 2020

Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei is a Twelver Shia Marja' and the second and current supreme leader of Iran, in office since 1989. He was previously the president of Iran from 1981 to 1989.Americans are fighting to impeach him. He does not represent the America we know. And the Americans don’t know what the government does. But behind the veil there is a lot to see. The government doesn’t want us to know the truth— webstar17 (@webstar17) January 17, 2020
In Iran, Soleimani was a lionized figure who embodied Iran’s lethal reach in the face of crushing US pressure. He was a powerful commander in charge of the Revolutionary Guard’s Quds Force, overseeing Iran’s proxy militias abroad, ranging from Hezbollah in Lebanon to armed factions in Iraq, Syria and Yemen. In Iraq, that meant directing the country’s mostly Shiite paramilitaries, including in the fight alongside the US against Sunni extremists like the Islamic State group.
