Super Bowl LIV was an American football game played to determine the champion of the National Football League (NFL) for the 2019 season. The American Football Conference (AFC) champion Kansas City Chiefs defeated the National Football Conference (NFC) champion San Francisco 49ers, 31–20, for their first Super Bowl win since Super Bowl IV and their first NFL championship since joining the league in the AFL–NFL merger. Patrick Mahomes won the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award, throwing 26 for 42 on passes, 286 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions, while also rushing for 29 yards and a touchdown.

The game was played on February 2, 2020, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
