10 Adorable Photos of Dogs With Human Face

1. Meet Yogi, a cute puppy of the Shih-Tzu breed that is taking the internet by storm

No, this companion dog does not have an exceptional talent or anything, but after his first appearance on Reddit, people started noticing something unusual about the way he looks. His snout resembles a human face!

Brown, almond-shaped eyes, the illusion of eyebrows, pinkish lips, and a precise haircut are probably the reasons why this unusual animal gives such an impression. Some people even say that at first glance, it also seems that this dog’s face is the result of a very successful face swap! However, Yogi’s owner, Chantal Desjardins, had never thought about her lap dog this way: “Looking at him, I usually don’t see it!”, Chantal told Boredpanda.

2. The second pet to take the internet by storm is Nori

Nori, an Aussiepoo mix who appears to have a "human face." No, this isn't a work of photoshop or a cleverly placed filter... Nori really does look like a little human.

His unique features regularly turn heads and have caused him to become a somewhat viral sensation.

3. Tonik

Tonik

Yes, it's true: Tonik's face, at least in this photo, looks very much like that of a mildly peeved Homo sapiens. Indeed, the resemblance is striking enough to prompt a writer for The Huffington Post to lead a story with, "It's just one of those things that are like, 'Whoa, dude.'"

But how, exactly, did Tonik's face get so ... dude-like? Well, it's true that humans and dogs do share some genes: Our two species likely have a common ancestor dating back to the Cretaceous period. And it's also true that Shih Tzus have been bred for their flat faces (many Shih Tzus have trouble breathing because of this). But Tonik's humanoid visage has much less to do with canine physiology than it does with human psychology.

Kayla Klear’s chihuahua-mix dog, Shiloh, was eying up her owner’s pop tart when Kayla managed to capture the human look.

Kayla’s video has Shiloh wanting a tasty human treat whilst at home in Hudson, Florida.

Whenever Shiloh begs for food he usually puts on his human face which leads to Kayla giving in due to the hilarious expression.

Kayla said: “ Shiloh usually looks pretty grumpy, everyone always pointed out how it looks like he’s frowning.

“Ever since then he’s been doing the squinting more, he doesn’t beg like a normal dog with puppy dog eyes, he kinda just glares at you.

Meet Bacon, an adorable rescue mix (Pekingese/Dachshund/Chihuahua) with a cute beard who is not scared of his emotions and is ready to show them all.  Bacon is winning people‘s hearts for his relatable expressions. On its Instagram page with more than 20k followers, it says: Hey there young whippersnappers! I'm Old Man Bacon, but don't you dare touch my beard! I'm a rescue Peke/Doxie/Chi, now get off my lawn!

8. Kate Lawler shared this picture on Twitter with caption: "After seeing that Dog with a human face in the news this week, it reminded me of when my friend said my dog Baxter resembles Jeremy Irons."

9. Yorkshire Terrier

Yorkshire Terrier

Sweet-faced little Yorkies fit in purses and laps, but their small size packs a ton of attitude. Their fine hair has a texture that's more similar to humans' than other kinds of fur, so it won't make you sneeze. But groom-averse, beware: Yorkies do require regular brushing and maintenance to stay tangle-free and silky soft.

10. Maltese

Maltese

Averaging a teeny-tiny seven pounds, the ancient Greek breed basically defines the concept of "lap dog." Even marathon cuddle sessions won't leave you sneezing, since their all-white coats are hypoallergenic. You can choose between cutting their soft fur into a sporty trim or letting it grow long, depending on how much maintenance you prefer.

Bonus: A Fluffy cat

Valkyrie, a very adorable and fluffy cat, is the new Internet sensation precisely because of this reason. The black cat’s visage eerily reminds a human face that is very odd for a cat. Tatiana Rastorgueva, the current owner of the baby Maine Coon shared a video, and a few images of Valkyrie on her Instagram and people fell in love with the unusual kitten.

It’s not really clear what makes her a human cat – it might be her bone structure, round cheeks, a prominent beard or that bored-with-life look in her eyes. Nevertheless, a cat with a human face is not something you come by every day.
