Kylie Jenner #1 Among the 10 Youngest self-made billionaires 2020

Finalized on March 18, 2020, it ranks the world's 2,095 billionaires by net worth. For the second year in a row, Kylie Jenner has the title of world's youngest billionaire. Walmart heir Lukas Walton is the richest billionaire under age 35, with a net worth of $18.4 billion.

World's #1 Youngest self-made billionaire 2020 is Kylie Jenner

The makeup mogul, 22, made Forbes’ 2020 World’s Youngest Billionaires list for the second year in a row, as her Kylie Cosmetics brand brought her net worth up to $1 billion. Only two other entrants under 30 — Snap cofounder CEO Evan Spiegel and John Collison of payments startup Stripe, both 29 — are considered “self-made” billionaires according to the business mag.

Jenner told Forbes in 2018 that she invested $250,000 of her own money from modeling gigs in 2015 to pay an outside company to produce the first 15,000 lip kits that eventually launched into a full-fledged cosmetic line.

“I said, ‘I’m ready to put up my own money. I don’t want to do it with anyone else,’” Jenner said.

More recently, the billionaire donated $1 million to help in the fight against coronavirus as it sweeps the globe. The money, which she donated to her OB-GYN, will help fund the cost of hundreds of thousands of masks, face shields, and other protective gear.

Despite the global markets falling in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, three people under 30 made the list for the first time this year. Pedro de Godoy Bueno, age 29, inherited assets from his billionaire father, Edson de Godoy Bueno, who died in 2017. Pedro’s fortune rose in the past year to an estimated $1.1 billion as stock of Brazilian laboratory services firm Diagnósticos da América SA tripled. The second new entrant is Lisa Draexlmaier, age 29, who owns and is co-CEO (with her father Fritz) of the holding company for German auto parts maker Fritz Draexlmaier Co & KG. Elizabeth Furtwaenger, 28, is now worth $1.2 billion after her father Hubert Burda gave her a 37.4% stake in the family’s media empire.
