Kang Hye-won

Born: 5 July 1999, Yangsan-si, South Korea
Height: 1.63 m
Currently: IZ*ONE member

She is known as the Innocent Rapper. While on Produce 48, despite being a vocalist, she had to do rap for the first evaluation and ended up liking it so she did it in future evaluations.

At first, IZ*ONE ’s Kang HyeWon   was not expected to contribute as much to the group as a singer nor as a performer. Of course, there are other important elements to have to be in a girl group but she certainly received lesser expectation compared to other members.

However, HyeWon had other strength and it was her exceptional beauty. Appearance is also another “skill” you need to have to be in a successful girl group and you can find HyeWon’s charismatic side when you see her in photoshoots.

Her model-like fashion and charisma made the majority of her fans to fall for her, not on the stage but rather through her pictures.

Kang HyeWon certainly has western facial features and with her eye-catching fashion taste, she reminds me of a top runway model. She’s not just fashionable, she’s classy enough that she has the potential to be a successful fashion model if she was not an idol.
