Those turning out in the capital today met at Hyde Park to for justice in support of Black communities in the US, as well as protesting against racism in the UK. Aerial footage revealed the scale of the crowd as the first protesters began turning up from 12pm, holding signs that read ‘Black Lives Matter’ and ‘No Justice, No Peace’.
According to sky news, at least one police officer has been punched in clashes with protesters near Downing Street as thousands of people gathered in central London over the death of George Floyd.

The protest in central London started at 1pm in solidarity with protests in the US, with people flocking to the park in crowds and chanting, "no justice, no peace" while holding up signs.
