BTS's Jungkook achieves another record on TikTok

BTS group member Jungkook breaks record for most TikTok hashtag views with 15.6 billion – despite not having an account. The twenty two year old K-pop star isn’t just the only celebrity to make this immense milestone, he is the only person to get this amount of views on a hashtag on the video-sharing platform, beating Indian film star Salman Khan who has 15.5 billion.

Jungkook’s hashtag had broken the 10 billion mark towards the end of June, but in just two months, it has been viewed a further 5.6 billion times, proving this number is only set to keep growing.

Jungkook also became the only person to achieve over two million likes on five of his Twitter posts as well as being named the most-searched Idol on Google and YouTube for 2020 so far, and also held the title for 2019 too.

Jungkook is one of the main singers in the K-pop group BTS. Put together seven talented performers and you get the award-winning and record-breaking K-pop group, BTS. He may be the youngest member of BTS, but that doesn’t stop him from showcasing his talent. From singing to dancing to having a kind heart, Jungkook seems to excel at everything he does. As a result, fans gave him a few appropriate nicknames. From the “Golden Maknae” to “Jeon Seagull”.
